Help your coachee understand the resources they need for their work

Instructions

  1. Identify what work tasks were abandoned when new ones are picked up.
For example, someone might have to give up on attending a strategic meeting to be one of the resource persons for a training program.

  2. Identify the resources others need to say yes to particular projects.
Let them know if the resources are actually available.

  3. Get to know the expectations of others towards the projects they have accepted.
For example, find out if they can conveniently handle it from start to the end or if they will be needing your opinions and suggestions from time to time.

  4. Talk to them about the habits they need for the projects they have accepted.
For example, they may need to be extremely punctual to successfully handle the project within the required timeframe.
