  1. Be honest with yourself and with others
    Lies inflict deep emotional pain, so the truth is the only way to heal your emotional wounds.

  2. Make a list of people from whom you need to ask for forgiveness
    If they are alive, contact them and make amends. If they are no longer with you, ask for forgiveness in your prayers.

  3. Make a list of people who have wronged you
    Gather the strength to forgive them because it is the only way to get rid of the poison in your emotional body.

  4. Practice self-love
    Remember that there is a lot to love about yourself. If you don’t love yourself, how can you expect others to love you?
