Have a standardised routine to save your mental energy for the important decisions

Instructions

  1. Have a system or routine and stick to it.
Ensure you follow your routine properly, or you’ll end up with tasks piling up on your list.
  2. Keep your physical space clean.
Clearing your clutter and tidying up provides you with more physical space while making it easier to find your things.
  3. Take care of your health by exercising and caring for yourself
A lack of exercise and self-care is linked with overthinking. Taking care of your health will help you fight the habit of overthinking and conserve your mental energy
  4. Take breaks throughout the day
Thinking is hard work and we often do not realise when we are overthinking. Give yourself 5-10 minute breaks throughout the day and night.
