Instructions

  1. ** Help your child understand the power of their mind.**
    Help them recognize that the thoughts and feelings giving them trouble are simply different aspects of themselves.
  2. ** Teach them to focus on the hub.**
    The hub of the wheel of awareness is the inner place of the mind from which we become aware of all that's happening around and within us.
  3. ** Teach them to focus on other rim points.**
    These include their confidence in their abilities, the belief that they are smart, their desire to relax and have fun, etc.
  4. ** Introduce the concept of the "windshield of awareness"**
    Explain to your child the different thoughts and emotions they are feeling. You may also ask questions to better understand what they feel.
