Focus on being productive instead of busy.

No explanation is needed in this one.

  1. To get more things done, surround yourself with people who equally want to get things done.
It sounds simple, but hardly anyone does it.
  2. Read The 12 Week Year by Brian Moran and Michael Lennington.
Dan says that this is one of the best books about productivity.
  3. Block out all the stuff that’s important to you.
This includes fitness, personal development/education, “nothing time” (an hour a day for literally nothing), time with family, film night, train journeys to nowhere, and so forth. Put them into calendar.
  4. Try Dan Meredith’s method to have two blocks for two hours daily of full focus.
You are more productive in short bursts than in long, stretched-out blocks.
