Fix your heartache.

If you restrain grief and heartache and bottle it up, it will eventually become unrestrained and could lead to negative consequences such as psychosis. Therefore, it is important to heal your heartache and dissipate your grief.

  1. Avoid the temptation to sit and brood over your heartache.
Resolve to escape from a defeatist attitude. Instead, get back into the main stream of life’s activities - get busy walking, riding, swimming etc., or lose yourself in a worthwhile project.
  2. Give way to grief.
Grieving is a perfectly normal human process. If you do not appropriately express your grief, you run the risk of having an emotional outburst after too long of a build-up.
