Find your community

Instructions

  1. Find groups that support your goals.
You can find these online by searching for groups on Facebook, Reddit, or meet-up groups. In person, you can join a class with similar interests or goals as you. These people should inspire you and/or encourage you.

  2. Cut off people who don’t support you.
Don’t be around or cut off relationships that keep you complacent, unhappy, or non-supportive of your life and mission. This will help you move forward with your goals instead of getting stuck or in doubt.

  3. Find a mentor.
Find someone who has been in your shoes and is above your level. A mentor will not only encourage you but also keep you accountable for achieving your goals—which is essential.

  4. Be a teacher to someone else.
Everyone has a skill they know 99% better than anyone else. First, identify your skill and then find a colleague or friend who struggles in that area and share one to two tips daily with them. This will not only help us enhance our skills but also help us live a more purposeful life.
