Find the best frame for your idea

Instructions

  1. Decide if your idea is monumental, manageable, mysterious, or a combination.
The ability to direct others' attention in regard to your idea is one of the most significant aspects of influence. By picking the right frame, you can influence how they think about your idea. Is your idea monumental (large, extreme, or dramatic)? Is your idea manageable (simple to do, take small amounts of time, effective, done with others)? Or is your idea mysterious (uncertain, changing, creative, has secrets to be revealed, supernatural)?
  2. Choose the words to create your frame.
If your idea is monumental, use words that capture this, like “global,” “planet,” “everyone,” “always,” “cosmic,” “divine,” “revolution,” “army,” etc. If your idea is manageable, use words like “habit,” “hack,” “project,” “day,” “hour,” “minute,” “DIY,” “how to,” “top 10,” etc. If your idea is mysterious, use words like “if,” “impossible,” “new,” “spark,” “transformation,” etc.
