Fight the confirmation bias

Instructions

  1. Make it easier for people to disagree with you.
    Allow people to disagree without becoming disagreeable. Using questions like “What if our least favorite option were actually the best one?” and “What data might convince us of that?”

  2. Ask questions that are more likely to surface contrary information.
    The best question to ask, in hopes of discovering the truth, is this one: “What problems does it have?” or “What’s the least compelling about it?”

  3. Check yourself by considering the opposite.
