Experiment more to better understand how you work best

When you try out different ideas, one at a time, and work on each one aggressively, you’ll be able to easily identify what you enjoy and what you’re good at. You’ll also begin mastering various different aspects of your skill.

1. Experiment with learning resources
   You can try books, videos, online courses, one-to-one lessons, etc. See which one enables you to learn most efficiently.

2. Experiment with technique
   As you improve your skill, the options of what to learn next will increase exponentially. For example, if you’re learning a new language and have mastered basic grammar and vocabulary, you could now read books, learn to converse fluently, have business discussions, etc. Focus on one thing at a time.

3. Experiment with style
   Once you’ve matured in your learning a little, you can start experimenting with style to see what you like best. As a starting point, you can look at what experts in your field have done, and dissect what makes their style so successful
