Instructions

  1. Identify and write down your negative thoughts
    Whenever you catch yourself having negative thoughts, write them down.

  2. Challenge your automatic, negative thoughts by engaging in simple tasks
    It’s about the small wins. Even accomplishing simple tasks such as going out to buy groceries and doing chores around the house will give you a sense of achievement.

  3. Meditate to break your attachment to material things
    Sit still and focus only on your breathing, one word, or an image. For example, you can focus on a name of your loved one, or an image which relaxes you. As you meditate, you will increase your spiritual awareness and naturally become less attached to the material world.
