Eliminate negative beliefs

Instructions

  1. Question your limiting beliefs.
Ask yourself, “What are my beliefs about memory? Are they true for me? How much is this belief going to cost me? Is it really true? Can I say it’s one hundred percent true?” When a negative belief about your memory arises, counter it with a time when your memory has served you well.
  2. Ask yourself why you want to change.
Having a clear reason “why” you want to change in terms of enhancing your memory will help you stay focused and propel you toward action.
  3. Focus on one thing at a time.
A big part of memory is concentration. Multitasking is the killer of memory, so avoid multitasking when learning new topics or doing tasks you need to remember.
