Greens have many good properties such as being an antioxidant, antimutagenic, and antitumor. Almost all fruits, before they ripen are green. This means that greens provide the entire spectrum of colors hidden inside of them.
Examples: Rocket, beetroot greens, collard greens, kale, mesclun mix, mustard greens, spinach, swiss chard, turnip greens.
Daily recommendation: 2 servings per day

- 90g cooked
Note: The only green to avoid is alfalfa sprouts, as it’s linked to salmonella.
