Dissolve personal grievances.

You will no longer distort the present by thinking and feeling that someone is wrong. The past baggage of old thoughts and emotions has no power to stop you from being present and will stop influencing your future.

Instructions

  1. Become aware of harboring grievances about someone, ‘an enemy.’
    Be honest. Is there someone in your life that you have not completely forgiven?
  2. Notice the thoughts and emotions you have about the grievance that are keeping it alive.
    Be aware of the thoughts, and feel the body’s response (emotions) to those thoughts.
  3. Recognize that the grievances’ purpose is to strengthen a false sense of the self.
    Forgiveness will now happen naturally as the seeing is freeing.
