Develop new habits to achieve your goal.

Instructions

  1. Make a list of the habits you need to incorporate to help you reach your goal.
Be specific about your habits. For example, if your goal involves fitness, what habits do you need to develop? What kind of exercise, eating, protein intake, and hydration habits would you need to incorporate so you can accomplish this goal?
  2. Build a new trigger.
For example, if you are unable to practice baseball consistently, try adjusting your batting gloves a different way or take a different number of practice swings. This forces your brain into a new thinking mode and helps eliminate the habit that’s not serving you well.
  3. Reward yourself after achieving a goal.
Whenever you accomplish a goal, give a prize to yourself as it locks in the habit.
