Develop good habits

Instructions

  1. Check unhelpful behavioral systems.
What behaviors and habits bring you further away from your goals? For example, if your goal is to lose weight but often snack on unhealthy foods, you will certainly not achieve your goal. You have you change your system of eating.

  2. Let go of the belief that you’ll only be happy if you achieve your end goal.
Enjoy the process rather than tying your happiness to the result. You'll feel joy right away if you respect your decisions and goals, are disciplined enough, and work diligently to form positive daily habits.

  3. Define your goals, develop a system, and change your identity.
Reformulate your thoughts and beliefs. Begin by defining your goals and identifying the right behaviors you need to achieve them. Then, determine how you can build the identity aligned with your goals. For example, if you want to be a runner, focus on building a runner identity.
