Define your purpose in life

Instructions

  1. Decide on a chief aim for your life.
Think about what your ultimate end goal is. For example, George S. Parker decided he wanted to make the best fountain pen in the world. Parker Pens are now known around the world, and the name is synonymous with quality. Your aim may be a business-related aim too, or it could be a personal one about conquering a milestone, such as climbing a mountain. Whatever your goal is, be clear about it in your mind.
  2. Write a clear plan for achieving that aim.
If it’s a business-related aim, lay out the different stages of starting the company, expanding into new markets, etc. For other aims, think about the different milestones along the way and chart your course to success. You may change this later as you adapt to situations, but you need it clear in your mind from the start.
  3. Assemble your master mind alliance.
These are people in your life who will support you professionally and personally. They must be people you trust and who share your common aim. Most importantly, do not bring any negative people into your alliance.
  4. Ask them to declare their support for your chief aim.
Your alliance should officially declare their support for your chief aim, agreeing that they will always work with you to help you achieve it. They will also tell you each day that they wholeheartedly believe you can realize your goals. This affirmation is very important. Have your alliance agree to this and sign a declaration.
