Decrease undesirable thoughts by focusing on positive ones instead

Instructions

  1. Make a conscious effort to shift your worries into support for yourself and others
Whenever you catch yourself worrying, thank your mind for the thought and redirect your attention to something positive in your environment.
  2. Scan for connections, not dangers
For example, let’s say you meet someone new. Instead of judging them and looking for red flags, talk to them about their lives and look for opportunities where you can help. Essentially, assume that others are inherently good.
