Fill a bucket with ice and water.
Fill the bucket with one-third ice and two-thirds water.

It is important to shift your mental focus to your hands and feet before you start the exercise.
Plunge your hands and feet into the ice water.
Plunge your hands, feet, or both into the ice water and hold them there for two minutes. Eventually, they will start feeling warm.
Remove and shake them out.
After two minutes, take your hands and feet and shake them to get the circulation going. They will feel much warmer than before.
