Instructions

  1. Choose clear, age-linked milestones. Refer to even-numbered birthdays (6, 8, 10…) as opportunities to add specific freedoms and responsibilities, like running errands or earning allowance.

  2. Celebrate transition with family or community rituals. Mark the milestone with a small ceremony or gathering, emphasizing personal growth and the new responsibility gained.

  3. Make each new freedom conditional on past responsibility. Tie expanded privileges to demonstrated maturity or follow-through, not simply age alone.
