Create an Automated Email Drip Campaign

Instructions

  1. Register with an email automation service
    If you are working with a designer or ad agency, you should ask them. If you want to do it yourself, use services like MailChimp or Mailerlite. If you need advanced features, you can look at services like Infusionsoft.

  2. Structure your nurturing campaign
    Send an email once a week:

    • Week 1: Nurturing email
    • Week 2: Nurturing email
    • Week 3: Nurturing email
    • Week 4: Sales email with a call to action

    Repeat this process every month.

  3. Write your nurturing emails
    Offer something valuable, position your business as a guide and create reciprocity. Use this formula:

    • Talk about a problem
    • Explain a plan to solve it
    • Describe life after it’s solved
    • Optional “P.S.” for answering potential questions or objections
  4. Write your sales email
    Be direct, not passive. Use this formula:

    • Talk about a problem
    • Describe a product your offer that solves it
    • Describe life after it’s solved
    • Call the customer to a direct action leading to a sale
    • Optional “P.S.” for answering potential questions or objections
