Draft a Vision Together Featuring Purpose, Picture, and Values. Engage your team or organization in dialogue to clarify: Why do we exist (purpose)? What does success look like (picture of the future)? What will guide our journey (core values)?

Communicate the Vision Continuously. Don’t let the vision fade into a poster—keep referring to it in meetings, decisions, feedback, and celebrations. Be relentless, like a third-grade teacher, in reminding and connecting actions back to vision.

Model and Reward Vision-Based Behaviors. Hold yourself and others accountable for acting in alignment with the vision and values. Celebrate examples where people live the vision; call out misalignments kindly but firmly.
