Convert routines into rituals to increase your mental energy.


  1. Identify which routines should be converted to rituals.
    Routines that are beneficial and meaningful to you can be converted to rituals. For example, consider your morning coffee to get you started for the day. Do not think of it as just coffee to drink, instead, think of it as a ritual in a sense where it will fuel you to get you started for the day ahead of you.

  2. Use your rituals often.
    This will help you practice mindfulness. They will be especially useful when your brain needs a reset, before you start your day or at the end of the day.
