Choose happiness.

If you tell yourself that things aren’t going well and nothing is satisfactory, you will be unhappy. Similarly, if you adopt a positive view of life, you will be happy.


  1. Tell yourself, “Things are going nicely. Life is good. I choose happiness.”
    The next time you hit a rough patch in life, and begin to feel hopeless or depressed, simply repeat the above sentence to yourself.
  2. Remind yourself to feel good.
    While getting ready in the morning, tell yourself, “I feel good mentally, physically, and emotionally. I believe this is going to be a wonderful day. I believe I can successfully handle any problems that come my way. I am grateful for all that I have, all I have had, and all I will have. Things aren’t going to fall apart.”
  3. Live simply and expect little.
    Fill your life with love, forget yourself, and think of others. Treat others the way you would like to be treated.
