  1. Start to notice your positive everyday behaviors and moments
    Did you stop and pick up your sock before you left the bedroom? Did you pause to say hello and have a conversation with your elderly neighbour?

  2. As soon as you notice the good behavior – celebrate it!
    Get a green light on the morning commute - “Yessss!”, finish folding the laundry – “Good job.” You can use celebration at any moment in your life to lift your mood.

  3. Continue to notice and celebrate your good behaviors and moments
    In time, instead of noticing all the annoying stuff—the red lights and the super slow cashier, you will notice all the small wins and positive moments.
