Build the minimum viable product (MVP).

If we are building something based on assumptions, and one of the assumptions is wrong, then the whole work might be wasted. In order to minimize waste, the very first thing to do is to validate all hypotheses. And to validate the hypothesis of if the product will provide the value to the user, we need something really simple. No product features needed. We need an MVP.

Instructions

  1. Use the core elements of your idea to build the simplest prototype of your product
It could be a simple website that will be mostly operated by you, or a video that will show the value of your idea to potential customers.

  2. Experiment with this
Test your hypotheses on this and tweak it accordingly - you'll save your resources for more important things.
