Break your fast in a safe, healthy manner

Instructions

  1. Drink water.
    A huge glass of water is recommended before you break your fast and after your first meal. This will keep you hydrated.

  2. Break your fast gently by not eating too much.
    For example, you can start breaking your fast with a snack or small dish, and then wait thirty minutes to an hour before eating your main meal. Note that overeating after a fast can result in stomach discomfort.

  3. Take time to chew your food thoroughly.
    This will help your digestive system that has been resting for some time.
