Break the worry habit.

Worry is simply an unhealthy and destructive mental habit. Since it is a habit, it can be broken. Start working on breaking your worry habit now and you will bring a lot more happiness into your life.

Instructions

  1. Tell yourself, “I believe” three times every morning.
    Remember, worrying is just a bad habit, one that you can break. Developing a sense of faith, by telling yourself that you believe, will prime your brain to overcome that habit.
  2. Practice saying something positive about all the negative things that worry you.
    For example, if you’re worried that your day will go badly, tell yourself, “This is going to be a glorious day.”
  3. Never participate in a worry conversation, instead, cultivate friendships with hopeful people.
    A group of people talking negatively will inject worry and negativity into your own psyche. So, do your best to bring positive thoughts to every conversation you have. Surround yourself with those who do the same.
  4. Help others overcome their worry habit.
    You will then find it easier and easier to break yours.
