Become virtuous by practicing virtues


  1. Identify the virtues that you’d like to attain.
    What kind of a person you’d like to be? Which qualities do you admire in others, and which do you lack?
  2. Come up with a list of actions to practice those virtues.
    These actions can be both great and small. Be mindful of how doing a particular action makes you a more virtuous person.
  3. Find your “golden mean.”
    Determine which are the extreme ways of a specific virtue and avoid them.
