Become a reflective thinker

Instructions

  1. Find time for reflection.
Find a time and place for reflection. Get away from all distractions such as your phone, television, children, etc.
  2. Express your reflective thoughts.
Use a journal or a calendar as a tool for reflective thinking. Make it a habit to write your thoughts and emotions down as they arise.
  3. Reflect on values, relationships, and experiences.
Consider numerous areas of your life, such as your personal development, family and marriage, and leadership. Then, evaluate your contributions in each area: Have you learned something important? Did you show your family today that you care? To whom did you add value? Are you taking your team and company to the next level?
