Analyze the nearest situation using this approach:

  1. After every unpleasant encounter or event ask yourself, “What can I do to reduce the chances of this happening again? Is there anything I can do to ensure that it doesn't happen again?”
    Most of what happens to you is the result of your actions (or inactions). You are in charge of your life.
