  1. When a loved one dies, imagine if you had never known that person.
    One thing you can do is to think about how much worse off you would be if you had never been able to enjoy the company of the person who passed away.

  2. Look for the grateful moments you shared with them.
    Rather than mourning the end of their life, you could be grateful for the moments you experienced together.
