Ask a Great Question to find a Great Answer.

When you ask yourself a Great Question, you are essentially pursuing a great goal; you are allowing yourself to achieve great levels of success.

Instructions

  1. Find your purpose.
Your purpose is what pushes you to get up every morning; it’s the driving force that keeps you going when you’re tired and feel like giving up.

  2. Ask a big and specific question to help you achieve a goal in-line with your purpose.
An example of a big and specific question is, “What can I do to double sales in six months?” It sets a big goal so you can achieve a high level of success, and it’s specific in both the time frame and the parameters with which you will measure that success.

  3. Turn it into a Focusing Question.
To follow the earlier example, convert your question to, “What’s the ONE Thing I can do to double sales in six months, such that by doing it everything else will be easier or unnecessary?”  This Focusing Question will help you identify the next step you need to take to achieve the goal you have set.

  4. Find the answer to your question.
The best way to find an answer to your question is to learn from the research and experience of others. Identify someone who has achieved a similar goal to yours, and begin studying from their knowledge. Use what you have learned from them to build an answer to your question.

  5. Be open to change.
Once you find the answer to your question, you may have to change some of your habits and behaviors to implement said answer. Think about it this way: Your current habits have not helped you achieve your goals, but your new ones might.
