Apply the five-minute rule to negative situations

Instructions

  1. When you’re feeling negative emotions while facing a problem, give yourself five minutes to be emotional, angry, or upset about it.
    You can set a timer for this.

  2. After five minutes, change your focus and think about solutions to the problem.
    Remember that you will not gain anything if you spend all your time worrying. However, you will surely gain something if you remove all the negativities and overcome the problem.
