Adopt a nonjudgmental mindset

Instructions

  1. Write down everything you judge.
Carry a small journal with you for 24 hours, and write down everything you judge. This can include thoughts, feelings, situations, people, etc. Anything that you judge as “good” or “bad” is considered a judgment.
  2. Examine your judgments.
Do you judge a lot? Do you want to judge less? Are there any patterns in your judgments? How do you feel about the judgments you pass?
  3. Write a journal entry about how it would feel to judge nothing.
How would it feel to suspend all judgment? What emotions could be released if you did not judge?
