Accept responsibility to make a change.

Once you realize that you are in control of yourself, you will feel liberated. Assume responsibility, and making positive changes will not feel difficult any longer.


  1. Recognize when you need to make a change.
    If you begin to notice a particular behavior or feeling affecting your life a little too much, it is time to make a change. Accept the responsibility for it and tell yourself, “I can change, and it is time to change.”

  2. Believe you can change today.
    Tomorrow never comes, so start today. Don’t entertain any mixed emotions about changing.
