Instructions

  1. Identify your values and priorities.
    Determine what matters most to you, what you value, and what you want to achieve in life. Write them down.
  2. Define your boundaries.
    Set clear boundaries around your time, energy, and attention. Determine what you're willing to tolerate and what you're not willing to tolerate.
  3. Stop caring about things that don't matter.
    Learn to say "no" to things that don't align with your values or priorities. This includes saying "no" to things that drain your time and energy and "no" to people who don't support you or add value to your life.
  4. Communicate assertively and respectfully.
    When you say "no" to things or people, do so in an assertive and respectful way. This means expressing your boundaries honestly, clearly, and firmly while also being considerate of others' feelings.
