Improve your ability to recall information

As you train yourself to remember and recall information at a faster rate, you’ll notice your overall performance improving.

Instructions

  1. Use flashcards
Flashcards are simple but effective. They work best for when you are trying to memorize things that have specific cues and responses, such as the vocabulary of a new language.

  2. Write down everything you can remember
After reading through a section of a book or watching part of a lecture, grab a piece of paper and write down what you can remember. It will be impossible to capture everything, of course, but forcing yourself to pen down as much as you can will cement the information in your mind.

  3. Take notes as questions instead of answers
For example, instead of writing “The Magna Carta was signed in 1215”, write “when was the Magna Carta signed?” and include a reference to where the answer is.
