How to Apply This

Write everything on the whiteboard that has to be accomplished in the next ninety days.
Narrow your list down to three to seven most important priorities for the quarter.
Set a due date for each priority.
Write priority as a specific, measurable, and attainable statement.
For example, close one million dollars in new business by March 31st.
Assign who owns and is in charge of each priority.
Each priority has only one person assigned to it.
Encourage each department and team to create their own three priorities.
Share the company priorities, or rocks, with everyone in the organization.
This is part of your vision, and it has to be shared by all.
