Try an effective approach to problem-solving using failure.

This exercise is underpinned by the idea that we are better at correcting mistakes than creating our best work from the get-go. Anyone can create something of low standards. However, with enough iterations of solving mistakes and identifying the good pieces, they will be able to create something that goes beyond their limitations.

  1. Select an issue or problem you are facing.
  2. Open up a blank document on your computer or phone and type all your ideas and solutions related to it in a non-judgmental way.
  3. Now identify the good elements in your notes.
These might be nice phrases, strong ideas, or you might even clarify the essence of what you are trying to create.
  4. Identify the mistakes and bad elements in your content and remove them, one by one.
  5. With every iteration, see if you are satisfied with the standard of the output.
If not, find another mistake and repeat the process.

Eventually, you will get a very high-quality solution or creation out of your own thoughts and ideas.

You can revisit this solution from time to time to use your new experiences and knowledge to tweak it even further.
