Teach your kids to be gritty.

f your kids are gritty, they will be able to be independent and successful, they will be disciplined, and they won’t give up in the face of adversity.

  1. When your kids begin a project and feel like giving up halfway, don’t let them.
Teach your kids the importance of commitment and push them to see their projects through. However, let them know that it’s okay to fail, as long as they don’t give up. Be supportive of all their efforts.
  2. Set clear boundaries and guidelines for your children.
Be sure to explain the logic behind each boundary, though, so that they understand why the rule is there in the first place.
